Flist, I think I have mumps.
I also think that I'm a complete hyphochondriac.
But seriously, OW. And it's incredibly one-sided, which I've never had before, and tends to be a symptom of mumps; and it's painful in a stupid place below my ear which isn't even my throat, but is rather where saliva glands are, and generally OW.
...ok, honestly I'm probably being very hypochondriac. Mainly my throat is probably screaming at me for spending Saturday night shouting at the ent, and this evening singing an awful lot.
I have nothing else interesting to say. Um. I did one of those amusing online self-diagnosis things that generally tell you you're about to die, and it said I probably have tonsillitis and should see a doctor today. Clearly that's untrue; I have no symptoms of that except the actual pain.
In conclusion: I have fresher's flu, which is naught worse than a cold. We all knew this, yes. But I'm a big ol' hypochondriac.
Oh, and dinner this evening? An uber healthy two-course toastie meal. YAY.
