NaArMaMo 2007; or, tau_sigma went crazy...

For some crazy reason (*coughjekestacough*) I decided to join naarmamo. Yes. I'm not really artistic, no, and since it's August, that month where holidays happen, I'm going to be away a bit and unable to do things, really. Or at least unable to post; I suppose I can do things and post them when I get back. ANYWAY. I have started; I've even gone as far to buy an A4 plain paper notebook in which to do my naarmamo things, and it's quite exciting. Currently I'm brimming with ideas, which I have cunningly written down because tomorrow, no doubt, I won't have a clue what to do. Or some day later.

So, ickle version (with link):

Very primary school, yes. But I quite like the simplisticness. Also I should clearly learn when to stop, because it looked better without the apples, but then they were done and couldn't be undone. Done with some odd crayon paints that I found at the bottom of a drawer. I haven't drawn anything for aaaages (except the occasional pen sketch on holiday or on the train), and, you know, it was quite fun. I'm quite looking forward to this month. Hmm.

It's just occured to me that I drew the birds the wrong way up. I'm quite willing to pretend that this is a Feature and not a mistake.

In other news, there are apparently no longer any direct trains from home to Birmingham. This is a bit of a bugger. I can't see why, at all, it's utterly bizarre and doesn't appear to be flood-related, so apparently they just fancied messing with the train schedules.

And this morning I learnt about power gear changing, which is kind of a non-race equivalent of heel and toe, and that apparently my observation and anticipation when driving is quite good. *g* It was really rather fun.

naarmamo, art, trains, iam, driving
