I woke up in a pretty good mood. I have a bit of night sweats, but I figured out the cause and it's no big deal. Then I saw an email that made me angry and well, I got the impulse to go get some illegally sweet pastry and coffee. And, as y'all know, since King's Hawaiin is nearby, I walked over there at a really fast pace to shake of the anger. IT WORKED! Although swearing a little before I walked out the door did too! hehe
I was originally going to listen to CD #3 of the Anasi Boys on my walk, but as I closed my bedroom door something made me reach over and grab another CD.
As I walked I chose the sunny side of the street and listened to Sarah M's Mirroball CD. It helped me get into a new headspace and it felt good. As I got close to being back home Fumbling Towards ecstasy came on. What happened is I don't LIKE track #12, so I forwarded to track # 13. Fumbling Towards Ecstasy IS TRACK # 13 DAMMITT! This made me burst into tears of release. This was the Goddess speaking to me loud and clear. I HEAR YOU!
Fumbling Towards Ecstasy
Sarah McLachlan
All the fear has left me now
I’m not frightened anymore
It’s my heart that pounds beneath my flesh
It’s my mouth that pushes out this breath
And if I shed a tear I won’t cage it
I won’t fear love
And if I feel a rage I won’t deny it
I won’t fear love
Companion to our demons
They will dance, and we will play
With chairs, candles, and cloth
Making darkness in the day
It will be easy to look in or out
Upstream or down without a thought
And if I shed a tear I won’t cage it
I won’t fear love
And if I feel a rage I won’t deny it
I won’t fear love
Peace in the struggle
To find peace
Comfort on the way
To comfort
And if I shed a tear I won’t cage it
I won’t fear love
And if I feel a rage I won’t deny it
I won’t fear love
I won’t fear love
I won’t fear love...
