Summer, where did you go?
I havent updated. i love my new starbucks. love love love it. i hate overnights but what the hell am i gonna do about it? cry? no. suck it up.
i feel like starbucks is a cult. and while we all have her own side friends, the majority of our free time is spent hanging out with other starbucks employees. why is that? i stayed 2 extra hours yesterday hanging out outside in the heat by the garbage with my employees.
i also want to know why it is that applebees is always the go-to spot for all of the jobs i've ever worked. ferries introduced me to applebees. american eagle attended applebees for parties and 2-fers. starbucks islandia loved their applebees. and apparently starbucks farmingdale does as well. weird.
i was just talking to mike from my new store and he reminded me of shimmer by fuel, and then that reminded me of summer and how much better it was back then. summer then wasn't just the time between my next shift at work, it was like 'yesss i get to go mini golfing with regina!' or 'yay! i get to go over to fair harbor today!! and lonnies my captain!!' or it was stalking and tcby with jen and kristine. i had plans almost every day. now its like 'omg i have work in 5 hrs, i can't do anything!'
why is barbie leaving farmingdale? i'm not happy!
