You know this just broke me, right? Of course you do...something this lovely, this sweet and this perfect, that's the only thing that it could do. The emotions he felt as she blew out her candles, the memories as he stood in her room, the loving mementos of two lives so entwined that showed him the true depth of her feelings...all worked so perfectly together to create this lovely fic and I so enjoyed finding it on my flist this evening! :-)

It's wonderful to find someone who not only enjoys this pairing but who can write them so beautifully! I'm so glad that you didn't mind me friending you so that I could enjoy them.

I loved it, as I've loved all of the pieces you've written. You're extremely talented and are able to really bring in the personalities of the characters into the story so that it seems so incredibly real.

Indeed we must! Secret handshakes, membership badges and the lot. ;-) Seriously, I don't see what people have against the pairing, so long as any sexual stuff is done after Georgie is of age. It's certainly not unusual for men that much older (and far older, even!) to date/marry significantly younger women. Like I said, as long as James isn't making advances to a ten-year old Georgie but an older teen Georgie, then I'm cool with it. Same with Tumnus/Lucy--I have *nothing* but love for that pairing (with the same age caveats) and see nothing in the world weird/strange/perverted about it. Love is love, and that's all the matters. :-D

Thankyou. *blushes*

Hmmm ... I think it does make sense but I understand why a lot of people dont ship it (the real person aspect, the cross gen, Georgie still being very young right now). But I have a bit of a thing for cross gen, which always helps when it comes to shipping.
And it can work in real life. One of my friends at work, her sister married someone about 23 years older than she is. And they are still married today, two decades later. So it can work.

YAY Turtle! I have a glass turtle!

And AW, such a sweet idea to have the James love hidden in the wardrobe. =D

I know I've said it many a time, but I'll say it again - I am so in love with your James. =D

That was totally deliberate. I really wanted to find a way to get him actually inside the wardrobe but it just wouldnt work.

Thanks so much sweetie. I'm thrilled you liked it.

Hehehe. My thought pattern went thus:

*James is sitting in the warbrobe*
*Georgie comes in*
G: James, come out of the closet.
J: Oh, a Pun!!!1! (And the two shared a good giggle.)

OMG IT'S AWESOME!*______* You're such a sweetheart! Thank you sooo much, hon!*hugs tight*

This is my favorite part, btw:

She smiled, her eyelashes fluttering against his cheek. “Looks like I got my birthday wish,” she said in a whisper. He laughed at that, and that laughter nearly turned into sobs when she traced her fingertips along his cheek and he was besieged by the love he felt for her.

PERFECT.

I'm sorry, but I don't know where else to put this comment. watchersprout September 19 2006, 18:29:08 UTC
You don't know who I am, but I have a friend who runs an icon community. She has had HORRIBLE trouble with Xanga people stealing her icons and while doing some leg-work for her, I came across an account that had some of YOUR icons on it, with a link back to your site. I can't tell if it was hotlinked, or what...sorry!

Here's the person's Xanga site. As far as I could tell, they are not giving credit.

I believe you have to have a Xanga account to view this.

Again...I'm sorry to dump this comment in the middle of nowhere, but I wanted to make sure you saw it.
