major daily grindage and stuph
wow, what a week - yesterday was the Roosevelt swim team going to
Medgar Evers pool (count:44), Thursday was the Nathan Hale X-country
team going to Lincoln park (count:47), Wednesday was the Nathan Hale
girls' soccer team going to Genessee park (count:23), Tuesday was the
Garfield tennis team going to Laurelhurst playfield (count: 17), and
Monday was the Roosevelt boys' JV football team going to Soundview
playfield (count: 37).
I'm so glad it's Saturday.
of course, the Seattle H.S. sports events will continue through this
month, and then October will be all about trucking elementary kids
to the pumpkin farm in Snohomish. maybe I could pursue a rewarding
career in basketweaving... naah, I'm terrified of getting paper cuts.
On personal life, Friday nite is Capt Morgans in the freezer, plus
my awesome roomie gets home with quality vodka, yea yea yea - the 1st
season of heroes, though, requires a second viewing, because sneaky
Bethany has been watching it whether I'm home or not... grr grr
