I have taken it upon myself to accept your challenge, BRaWLDOS:

Once there was a Colonel who could not swim. The Colonel's name was Roy, however for this story's purposes the Colonel is female, and shall be addressed as Ryo.

Despite the fact that Colonel Ryo could not swim, she still liked to venture to the beach. Sporting a "teenie-weenie, yellow polka dot bikini," she pranced out onto the beach with no shame at all. All the other girls at the beach didn't quite like Ryo all that much, because of her constant flirting. Some even labeled her as a tramp.
Yet the Colonel ignored their remarks and continued to do what she did best: Flirt.

It seemed like the woman had not a care in the world until one day. Ryo was wading out at sea, and something caught her attention. What was that? Could it really be? A fancy shell bracelet that someone must have dropped. The Colonel was certain that it bring in more boys if she wore it. So the woman went after it, but somehow it always eluded her grasp! Ryo continued this cat and mouse chase until she was in over her head.

Soon after, the Colonel began to thrash around and yell for help; but no one came to her aid. Why? Because everyone thought that the other person would do it. And why not? She's so popular somebody should have. But nobody did, and soon after she drowned.

The moral of this story? Do not be vain.
