Some resolutions...
I resolve to never attempt to create complex hard drive colostomy bags when Mercury is about to go retrograde.
I resolve to never, ever again find myself inadequate just because I don't suit someone else's tastes -- nor will I attempt to change myself dramatically in order to change someone's mind about me.
I resolve to learn "stage presence," or at least to not keep my eyes closed when I perform. As a sidenote on that, I also resolve to not leave the stage before the song is completed or reveal just how scared shitless I am to an audience.
I resolve to surround myself with people who make me feel, with understandable complexities, happy -- and excise all others.
I resolve to stop multitasking.
I resolve to be able to afford the reflecting Garbo tattoo by my birthday.
I resolve never to conflate falling in love with a chronic urge to prove someone wrong.
I resolve to learn all the words to "Rock Me Amadeus" by December 31, 2011. I mean it this time.
