Yea it will be cool to see where we both are in 10 years! Yea I know what you mean about some of the stories really getting to you. I think I bawled buckets when the woman who was 8 months pregnant slipped in the shower and it killed her child. I think thats the biggest reason I at the moment dont think I could do OB/GYN....99% of what you see is happy and great, but when you have to deliver a dead child or tell parents that their child is dead...I'm not sure I could do that yet.

On the other hand, Jen is right, you CAN always go back to school. You'd be shocked by some of the people that go to PA school. It's actually a lot of people on their second (or third!) careers. A lot of people already have families, kids, etc and realize they want to be in medicine. PA school is a good way to go...its only 2 years. So I'd say you definitely always have the option if you want it (one guy that just graduated PA school was 56!)

I wish you good luck though on tackling the industry! Who knows? Maybe you'll get to BE on Grey's Anatomy and act like a surgeon! Best of both worlds! lol
