So guys, new question. Does an employer striving for 100% productivity by banning means of entertainment on the job help or hinder his/her goal?
My opinion? Hinder. I believe that by cutting off venues of entertainment for an employee that an employer will not only decrease morale but also decrease an employee's lifespan at that company. By cutting off means of entertainment at work the employee becomes less satisfied and bored. He/she becomes prone to falling asleep or spending time trying to find new ways to entertain his/herself so that his/her mind can be engaged.
