(no subject)

 South Beach Day 3
I can't believe I've survived 3 days with no carbs. Today was the worst as we went to the Air Show. I did really well packing our lunches. I've never eaten so many veggies picnic style.  But we had to walk past the food vendors to get to our seats.  Fried artichoke hearts, clam chowder in a bread bowl, pepper steak sandwiches, nachos... do I need to go on?  I kept telling myself that I was not even hungry.  It did smell good though.  
I am going to have to check in with my trainer on this. (and research online) I really don't know what my body will use for fuel for my workouts. I have a 2 1/2 hour ride to do tomorrow. I hope my body is ok with all the broccoli and green beans I had with dinner tonight. (along with a turkey burger)  If it doesn't make sense for training, I may skip right to phase 2.
I do feel less bloated that before I started. I am not having any wild cravings for sugar or carbs.  Has anyone else done this before? Does it get worse later this week?
