Delicious Food and Australian Drag Queens
Another bright and frosty morning made better by the pre-subway trek to Ula! This morning I got a vegan chocolate muffin and another latte, this time mostly decaf though to avoid the twitchiness of yesterday. The vegan chocolate muffin was, as Zeela put it, "disgustingly delicious." Better than any non-vegan chocolate muffin I've had, and I've had a few!
Last night we had breakfast for dinner and Jenna and I watched The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
It was pretty fabulous. Who knew Terence Stamp could be so elegant and feminine? Hugo Weaving makes a beautiful drag queen and also looks SO MUCH like Stefan Olsdal of Placebo. It's uncanny! Maybe the best scene was the one in which Hugo Weaving wore a dress made entirely of flip flops.
Brilliant.
