I've been talking about it for a while, and last night I finally took the plunge.
I made my first batch of Timid Pirate Ginger Peach preserves.
I've brought in a sampling jar to work to get some feedback, and I'm now prepared to say this experiment was an unqualified success.
Next up?
Perhaps a Pineapple Jalapenjo Marmalade, or Cherry Serrano Preserves, or I can fall back on an old standby and make Tomato Apricot Chutney -- a favorite from a place of former employment.
