A Pokemon story?! (You've got to be kidding me!)
I'm thinking up a Pokemon fan story. It's not going to be a doujinshi of the canon characters, it's going to be my own characters. It's going to be the default world, but the big twist is going to be in the people.
I'm putting together my mains, now. One in particular is the head main: A female posing as a boy, starting the travel slightly later than the official age. She major tomboy, that's going around as a boy so people won't discriminate her gender. She's not ashamed of being a girl, and he likes herself the way she is, but she doesn't like being told she has to act a certain way or be certain things because of her gender. Part of her character development will be finding that boys have it just as hard as girls, only for different reasons and standards. I haven't pick a goal for her yet, but she'll be a traveling Pokemon trainer, in the mean time.
Her goal isn't to be a Pokemon master, and she's not going to stay her starting age forever! I've yet to pick the region she'll be from, but I do have her starter Pokemon, and main partner in mind.
The thing about the world is it has a new race of people in it called Rushers, and Berserkers. The is a new step in human evolution the world is coming in, and the head main is one of them. Rushers get an energy from the mainly partnered Pokemon of their choosing, and some have multiple partners. Some Rushers just stick to the few elements and abilities that best suit their usual needs, but the Rush ability has no limit per person. You still won't find many that have more than a few elements due to the energy to takes to gain and refine them. It's easy for many to over exert themselves, and that never has good results. A Berserker is a higher level of Rusher. The Rusher has combined emself to the partnered Pokemon, becoming one being. Berserkers (more often, than not) take some form of apperance to the Pokemon. How much and what the levels of it depend on I have yet to decide. The gender between Pokemon and trainer don't matter.
As a warning now: This this not a "G" rated project. Anyone that knows me knows I can't help myself. This is too good to be tamed!
this is a BRAND new idea, but I'm starting to map it. I won't say anymore so not to ruin it. This will be going soon, as it's easier than making a fully original story. It will be nice to start off with something easy.
