Title:I'm glad I met you
3 weeks passed and HSJ became close to Miki than ever. HSJ went to Miki for advice, She gave awesome advice to them that’s why they liked her so much. Miki, in return, learned to love HSJ. They were fun to be with. She liked teasing them and hanging out with them as they loved teasing and hanging out with her.(hehehe…too long..)
Monday..Miki just came home from school….
“Tadaima!”Miki greeted..
Then out of nowhere, Chinen popped out.
“Mi~Ki~Chan!”Chinen called out. “Okaeri!”
“Oh Chii-chan, Tadaima!...Do shita?”Miki patted Chii’s head and smiled…
“I have good news!...Tonight, the JJ company will be holding a special concert for Johnny-san because it’s his birthday today….We will also be be performing in the concert….”Chinen explained.
“Ahh..sou ka…That’s good!”
“And he wants YOU to come to the concert and the celebration afterwards.” Chinen continued.
“Eh? Atashi? D-doshite?”
“Johnny-san wants to express his gratitude for taking care of us through this party…That’s what he said..”
“He didn’t have to…I’m already contented with staying here together with you guys….”
“But at least come…Just greet him a happy birthday…I’m sure you’ll have fun…Pwetty pwease with a cherry on top?”Chinen pleaded cutely while doing his puppy dog pout..
“Hmm..What time is the concert and the party?”
“The concert is 6:30 pm and the party is at 9:00pm…”
“Hmm..I won’t make it in time for the concert cause I promised my homeroom teacher that I’ll help her make pamphlets this evening..”Miki said
“Aaaawww!! That’s not fair!” Chinen whined..
“But if I finish it early, I’ll definitely make it in time for the party…Okay?”
“I guess it’s fine,…But make sure you come okay? Oh, And did I mention that its an overnight stay so you have to bring extra clothes Mi-chan..”
“Eh??...Oh…Fine…Any more reminders I need to know about?”
“There’s one more…It’s a formal celebration so you need to wear a gown…”
“I need to wear a what?!?!?” Miki couldn’t believe her ears…
“A gown..”Chinen simply replied cutely..”Do shite?..Don’t you have one?”
I-I do but but that gown is terribly embarrassing!!”
“You have no choice…You have to wear that…It can’t be that bad…”
“I guess so…For Johnny-san’s sake…And for your sake as well….”
“Yatta! Arigato Miki-chan!...Ja…I’ll be upstairs practicing with them…”Chinen hugged her tight before going back to where he came from…
Miki sighed in defeat as she slowly walked upstairs toward her room…
Later that night, right after the concert, HSJ was in a van, already dressed formally. They all wore black tuxedos and the only thing different from their clothing were their neckties…
The van headed towards Johnny-san’s house-no! Scratch that! Johnny-san’s MANSION.
A couple of minutes later, they arrived at the MANSION.HSJ went inside and was amazed at the place. Every Johnny group were scattered everywhere. Like KAT-TUN, Arashi, V6, Kanjan8, NEWS, Kinki Kids, Johnny’s Jr., and many, many more. Some of the guests were Family and Friends of Johnny-san.
First, HSJ met up with KAT-TUN, and NEWS, Which was easy to do cause the said groups were already talking together…
“Kamenashi-senpai!” Yuto called and as they approached them..
“Hey Yuto!...Sup Guys!” Kame replied while ruffling Yuto’s hair..now it was a mess…
“Mou! Kame-senpai! Yamete Kudasai! You’re making my hair go all woosh!” Yuto complained as he made his senpai stop…
Now his hair looks like a pineapple.
“It does look good on you though….”Kazuya commented and all of them agreed.
“No it doesn’t.” Yuto said with puffed cheeks.
Then Yamapi pinched Yuto’s cheeks and stretched them.
“See?..It does look good on you Yu-chan!” Yamapi joked and all of them laughed.Moments later, he let go of his cheeks.
“Ahh, Mou..Itai yo!”Yuto whined as one hand rubbed his cheeks and his other hand fixing his hair…
“By the way senpai….I didn’t see Ueda-senpai perform in the concert today…Where is he?” Takaki asked.
“Ueda couldn’t make it for the concert and the party cause he’s in Hokkaido right now…”Jin explained
“Oh, I see….That’s a pity….”HSJ was disappointed
“Yeah, when we sang at the concert, It wasn’t the same without Ueda” Junno said sadly and KAT-TN agreed..
They paused for awhile…then suddenly, Chinen’s phone rang….
“Ah, Sumimasen…”He excused himself and answered his phone.
“Hai?...Moshi-moshi!..Oh Miki-chan!..Nani?..The party just started..Yeah okay…Here’s the address….” Chinen told the address and nodded a thousand times.
“Okay then…Don’t be late….Ja ne!..”Chinen hung up and walked back to his senpais…
15 mins later…..Miki arrived at the mansion…..
Once she got out of the taxi she was in, all eyes were on her. And that was just outside.
She felt uncomfortable so she quickly went to the entrance, which was blocked by a buff body guard.
“Name please….” The guard demanded.
“Yurihara Miki.” She replied and the guard scanned the guest list.
“Do you have an I.D. to prove you’re Yurihara Miki?” The guard said sternly.
“Is a school I.D. okay?” She asked and showed him her I.D.
“It’s fine.” The guard took the I.D. and checked it…”Okay. You’re clear…You may go in….Enjoy the party Ms. Yurihara.”The guard smiled at her and opened the door.
“Arigato…”Miki bowed politely before going in.
“Oh, and Yurihara-san, don’t be too surprised that there are very few women inside…Like maybe 12 or 13 including you…After all, almost all of them are Johnny Entertainment members. Relax and enjoy your time…” The guard said to her…
Miki nodded and walked inside slowly…While walking, As expected, all eyes googled on her…”Some” guys surrounded her and asked her so many personal questions…
Meanwhile, on the other side of the room….
“What the heck is going on over there?” Koki wondered.
Of course the others were curious so they asked a guy who just came from the crowd…It happened to be Matsumoto Jun from ARASHI…
“Hey Jun!” Maru called him…
Jun heard him and approached them...” Hey guys! What’s up?”
“What’s all the commotion going on over there?” Jin asked.
“Oh…Some cute girl arrived just now….”
“Onnako?...What’s her name?” Kame asked.
“I don’t remember…Wait….I think it was Yurihara something…” Jun-kun explained and KAT-TN and Yamapi just said “ah sou...”
“Yurihara?!?” HSJ shouted and startled their senpais.
“What, You guys know her?”Kazuya asked.
“Yeah, but we didn’t know that she was coming…”Kei said and HSJ nodded.
“I did…hehehe…Johnny-san phoned me awhile ago and asked me if I could invite her…I just kept it a secret…” Chinen grinned mischievously.
“Why you little rascal!..” Daiki’s eyebrows twitched.
“Hihihi…” Chinen stuck out his tongue before dashing to the crowd…
Since he can’t pass through the huge crowd, he jumped up as high as he could…He spotted Miki and waved at her while hopping...
“Miki *hop* chan! *hop* Over *hop* here! *hop*
Miki was able to see and hear him but can’t respond due to noise…Chinen kept on hopping…
Suddenly, someone fake coughed and caught the crowd’s attention.
“Johnny-san!” One guys gasped
“Minna-san, you’re being rude to one of our guests…”Johnny-san said
“Su-sumimasen..” Another guy apologized and everyone bowed before going away.
Johnny approached Miki and patted her head gently…
“I’m glad you made it , Yurihara-san…” Johnny smiled
“Oh, um…Arigatofor inviting me to your party Mr. Johnny…Otanjobi Omedeto Gozaimasu..” Miki smiled and bowed politely…
“Arigato…Now I must go and greet my other guests…Please enjoy yourself..”He said and walked away…
At the same time, Chinen, HSJ, KAT-TN and Yamapi approached her…
HSJ had hanged jaws while the others just smiled at her…
“Miki-san,…is that really you?” Yuto asked, his face showed shockness…
“You look so kawaii nee-san…”Ryutaro commented…
Miki blushed and thanked them for their comments…
“Mi-chan, I thought you said your gown was embarrassing. It’s just perfect…” Chii said ad hugged her…
Miki blushed even more and didn’t budge…
Miki wore a pure white gown, clearly exposing her shoulders. The gown was slightly tight, showing her curves at the right places. The gown’s length ended a little above her knees, giving a great view of her smooth legs. Her white doll shoes were a perfect match to her lovely gown…Her hair was flowing straight, a small part of her hair on the right side was tied in a small braid…And to top it all off, Her bangs were fixed at the right side of her forehead, slightly covering her right eye…She wore light make-up and pink lip-gloss, and finally, she wore simple but elegant jewelry….A silver heart shaped pendant hung around her neck. A pair of heart shaped earrings that were hooked on each ear were a perfect match to her necklace….
All in all, she looked like an angel without her wings…Even KAT-TN, Yamapi, and Jun were quite shocked by her beauty.
Everyone was quiet due to shock ness so “ The great Bakanishi Jin” decided to break the deafening silence..
“Ano..Boku no namae wa Akanishi Jin desu…”Jin introduced himself politely. Then,
“It’s a pleasure to meet such a lovely lady like yourself this evening.”Jin said in pure English and kissed her hand while kneeling down…Miki blushed furiously…
“I wonder if she understood what I said..”Jin thought
“Umm, It’s nice to meet you too Akanishi-san, I’m Yurihara Miki….” Miki replied in pure English too…
“Ehh??..You can understand and speak English?” A surprised Jin asked.(This conver. Is now Japanese but read in English….)
“Hai…” Miki smiled.
“Ehh….Sugoi ne!” Kazuya butted in…
“Yeah, She’s a half Japanese and half American.” Chinen explained.
“Ehh??” Everone shouted and Chinen nodded.
“Right Mi-oneechan?” Chinen turned to her…
“Well yeah..” Miki admitted bashfully.
“Whoa!!” Everyone said in unison and Miki blushed even more.
“By the way, I’m Kamenashi Kazuya.” Kame winked at her…
“Hello!..I’m Taguchi Junnosuke!..Yoroshiku ne~!”Junno took herhand and shook it crazily…
“Yo!..I’m Tanaka Koki…Yoroshiku!” He made a peace sign…
“And Nakamaru Yuichi is my name! Nice to meet you Yurihara-chan!” Maru patted her shoulder.
“We’re from KAT-TUN…Do you know us?” Jun asked..
“Hai..I’ve heard of you guys…”Miki replied…
“Oh I see…That’s great...But as you can see, Ueda’s not here, He’s in Hokkaido. You know him don’t you?” Koki asked...
“Hai!..I think so. But I feel bad that he wasn’t able to come…” Miki said sadly..
“Oh, Is that so? Wow….You sure are a nice girl. Worrying for someone you haven’t even met. That’s so sweet.” Kame patted her head gently…
Miki blushed at the comment and didn’t utter a sound…
“Umm..Hello? …I think you’re forgetting some people over here…”Jin interrupted.
Everyone turned to him..Jin had his arms around Yamapi and Jun…
“Oh sorry. You guys weren’t saying anything” Kame apologized
“I was going to but Junno suddenly spoke..’Yamapi joked.
“Eh??Why is it me again?” Junno whined.
“Hehe..Just kidding..”Yamapi grinned then turned to Miki “Boku no namae wa Yamashita Tomohisa desu…I’m from News..Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu.”
“Hey! No need to be formal you baka! You’re just a copycat!” Jin smacked Yamapi on the head and everyone laughed.
“Ja, Matsumoto Jun desu…I’m from Arashi…”Jun bowed..
“Yoroshiku!..Minna yoroshiku onegaishimasu!....”Miki bowed politely and the rest did the same.
“Ne, ne, Yurihara-chan, can I call you Miki-chan instead?” Jin asked suddenly.
Then Kame pinched Jin’s nose so hard…
“Itai! Itai! Itai!” Jin whined.
“Baka, you’re being too rude! Of course she won’t let you!” Kame whispered.
“No it’s okay...I’m used to being called by my first name.” Miki assured them
Jin smirked at Kame as a sign of victory…
“Ja Miki-chan it is ne?” Maru said and she nodded..
“Mik-chan, I heard this yesterday, but is it true that you’re the one taking care of our little kouhais here?” Junoo said, referring to HSJ…
Before Miki could answer, HSJ began to hug her in every angle…Like her arms, neck, and stomach. But there was one guy who didn’t hug her... (You’ll know why)
“Yup!..Hontou desu yo!” They said in unison.
“Umm Yeah..”Miki followed…
“I see…How old are you? Junno asked…
“14”
“So young!”Senpais shouted.
“She’s young but very talented” Takaki said and HSJ agreed.
“How’d ya get the job?” Yamapi asked.
“Mom recommended her to Johnny-san. And she made a wise choice since Miki’s like a sister to us…” Chinen explained proudly…
“Even if we only knew her for a short time, we’ve gotten a lot closer to each other. And we plan to get even closer as much as possible.” Yuto said passionately and HSJ agreed once more…
Miki was so embarrassed by their answers, but at the same time, she felt so happy that “that” was what they feel about her. She was touched by HSJ’s words.
“Woah…I wish we had a girl like that in our house…But we got nothing” Jin spoke…
Just then he noticed something…
“Hm.? Hey Yamada-kun..Why are you over there by yourself? Come here and join us.” Jin said…
Yamada was leaning on the wall not far from them. Of course he stared at Miki because of her attire. But something was wrong with him.
“No thanks…I’m fine Akanishi-senpai…” Yamada declined but smiled sadly.
Everyone of them got worried, But they left him alone as he wanted. Miki on the other hand was very disturbed. Throughout the whole night, Yamada just sat in a corner all silent. Miki wanted to approach him but Chinen kept on pulling her to meet his senpais.
At late night, Miki tossed and turned in her bed. She doesn’t know why she can’t sleep. So she finally made a decision: to go down stairs and make some hot chocolate. That always made her sleepy.
She went down stairs…But on her way to the kitchen, she passed a big sliding glass door, and she stopped. The glass door led to a giant pool. She noticed a silhouette of a person sitting at the edge of the pool.
“Why would someone be awake at this hour?” She thought.
Miki forgot about her hot cocoa and decided to see who it was. She opened the door silently and walked up to him. The guy sat there with his feet in the water and head bowed down. She was surprised to see who it was.
“Yamada-kun?” She gasped.
One He heard her, He raised his head and faced her.
“Miki-san..”He said unenergetically…
“Why are you here so late at night?” Miki asked as he crouched down.
“I can’t sleep.” He looked at her radiant face.
“Oh I see….I couldn’t sleep either….” She smiled at the moon.” Don’t know why though…”
Silence surrounded them after that, Yamada’s head bowed down again and Miki spoke.
“Why can’t you sleep?”
“….” No reply
Not knowing what to say next, she began to ask him what’s been on her mind...
“Sorry for being so nosy but, I noticed that you haven’t talked to anyone nor you didn’t have any fun with us tonight. From what I’ve heard from Chii-chan, He said you were lively when it comes to celebrations. Is something wrong? Did anything happen?”
Yamada didn’t know what to answer, so he pretended to ignore it.
Miki waited for an answer but nothing came out of his lips, she felt a bit hurt that he didn’t answer her.
“Maybe I’m annoying him….I was the one who disrupted his peace and quiet in the first place…” She thought.
“Oh I’m sorry for saying such things. I was just worried. I’ll leave you alone now. I seem to have interrupted you.” She stood up and tried to walk away when a tight but gentle grip stopped her, who else would it be?
The moment their hands touched, Miki’s heart began to pump.
“I don’t mean to be forceful, but stay for a while. And don’t worry; you’re not annoying me or anything. Just stay.” Yamada commanded her gently; his head raised a little, looking at the clear water.
When she heard him say that, her heart throbbed faster. Miki’s cheeks started to burn slightly.
“Why is my heart throbbing so fast?” She thought endlessly.
She snapped out of her thoughts when Yamada’s grip tightened.
“Stay…”He repeated with a gentle but sad voice…
Something was definitely wrong with him. Miki got more worried. But once Yamada finally faced her, she saw a pleading face. She knew that “that” was a sign that she needs to stay.
“Wakatta...I’ll stay with you...” She took of her slippers and dipped her feet in the pool. She sat beside Yamada and looked at the full moon. She tried to pull her hand off Yamada’s but he didn’t let her. He only tightened his hold. Miki looked at their locked hands, then at Yamada, who was pretending to look at the sky. Miki’s cheeks turned bright red and decided to let him do what he wants.
Couple of minutes of silence later, Yamada spoke.
“Miki-san…” He started.
“Hai?”
“For example, there’s a presentation at your school, you were a part of it. For the past week, you’ve been practicing really hard for it. But when the day came for your presentation, you made several mistakes. What would you do after that?” Yamada stated.
“Huh?....Hmmm…Well, If that really happened, then I would let it go and say to myself: I did the best I can…” Miki answered
“Won’t you feel bad and regret your mistakes” Yamada asked.
“Well, I will but just for awhile. Because its pointless to mourn about what’s already done. Just think, what will be the advantage if a person mopes around about one simple problem?” Miki replies.
“But what if-“Yamada wasn’t able to continue when Miki spoke…
“Nobody’s perfect Yamada-kun. Everyone makes mistakes like that; Even the greatest person on earth isn’t perfect. Just say, I’ll do much better next time, I’ll work my hardest.”
Yamada faced the moon and smiled slowly. Miki saw it and teased him…
“Oh!...You smiled again!...That actually looks good on you!...Kawaii!” Miki poked Yamada’s right cheek. “You should smile more often.
“Stop that…come on…Stop that…Yamete!” He pleaded while laughing…
Miki began to tickle him on the sides and he kept on laughing and pleading but she didn’t listen to him…Then, by accident, Miki pushed Yamada into the pool. Instead of apologizing, she laughed at him. Yamada spitted out some water from his mouth.
“AHAHAHAHAHAHA!”
“Oh you’re so gonna pay for that…”Yamada smirked. Miki was somewhat confused. Yamada took the opportunity to pull her in the pool as well. It surprised her so she gasped.
Now it was his turn to laugh. He laughed twice as hard as Miki. Miki splashed some water to Yamada’s face and he did the same. They kept splashing each other and didn’t even notice that they were having fun with each other’s company. In the middle of their fun, Miki held back her wet hair in a sexy way.
Yamada watched her while she did that, He didn’t blush that much. He observed how she moved, how she shines under the moon light. He didn’t even know that he just licked his lips.
Miki…chan…” He muttered and that surprised her.
Her eyes were wide as saucers due to shock ness.
“D-did he just call me Miki-“chan”?” She asked herself. “I must’ve had too much water in my ears….Maybe I’m just hearing things…”
She was lost in thought yet again until…
“Miki-chan?” He said more faster and louder.
“Na-nani?” She answered “I guess I wasn’t hearing things after all” She thought and smiled…
“I want to tell you something…” He whispered…but enough to be heard by Miki.
“Huh?..Umm…What is it?” She wondered and got ready to listen to him….

“I don’t remember…Wait….I think it was Yurihara something…” Jun-kun explained and KAT-TN and Yamapi just said “ah sou...”
“Yurihara?!?” HSJ shouted and startled their senpais.
“What, You guys know her?”Kazuya asked.
“Yeah, but we didn’t know that she was coming…”Kei said and HSJ nodded.
“I did…hehehe…Johnny-san phoned me awhile ago and asked me if I could invite her…I just kept it a secret…” Chinen grinned mischievously.
“Why you little rascal!..” Daiki’s eyebrows twitched.
“Hihihi…” Chinen stuck out his tongue before dashing to the crowd…
Since he can’t pass through the huge crowd, he jumped up as high as he could…He spotted Miki and waved at her while hopping...
“Miki *hop* chan! *hop* Over *hop* here! *hop*
Miki was able to see and hear him but can’t respond due to noise…Chinen kept on hopping…
Suddenly, someone fake coughed and caught the crowd’s attention.
“Johnny-san!” One guys gasped
“Minna-san, you’re being rude to one of our guests…”Johnny-san said
“Su-sumimasen..” Another guy apologized and everyone bowed before going away.
Johnny approached Miki and patted her head gently…
“I’m glad you made it , Yurihara-san…” Johnny smiled
“Oh, um…Arigatofor inviting me to your party Mr. Johnny…Otanjobi Omedeto Gozaimasu..” Miki smiled and bowed politely…
“Arigato…Now I must go and greet my other guests…Please enjoy yourself..”He said and walked away…
At the same time, Chinen, HSJ, KAT-TN and Yamapi approached her…
HSJ had hanged jaws while the others just smiled at her…
“Miki-san,…is that really you?” Yuto asked, his face showed shockness…
“You look so kawaii nee-san…”Ryutaro commented…
Miki blushed and thanked them for their comments…
“Mi-chan, I thought you said your gown was embarrassing. It’s just perfect…” Chii said ad hugged her…
Miki blushed even more and didn’t budge…
Miki wore a pure white gown, clearly exposing her shoulders. The gown was slightly tight, showing her curves at the right places. The gown’s length ended a little above her knees, giving a great view of her smooth legs. Her white doll shoes were a perfect match to her lovely gown…Her hair was flowing straight, a small part of her hair on the right side was tied in a small braid…And to top it all off, Her bangs were fixed at the right side of her forehead, slightly covering her right eye…She wore light make-up and pink lip-gloss, and finally, she wore simple but elegant jewelry….A silver heart shaped pendant hung around her neck. A pair of heart shaped earrings that were hooked on each ear were a perfect match to her necklace….
All in all, she looked like an angel without her wings…Even KAT-TN, Yamapi, and Jun were quite shocked by her beauty.
Everyone was quiet due to shock ness so “ The great Bakanishi Jin” decided to break the deafening silence..
“Ano..Boku no namae wa Akanishi Jin desu…”Jin introduced himself politely. Then,
“It’s a pleasure to meet such a lovely lady like yourself this evening.”Jin said in pure English and kissed her hand while kneeling down…Miki blushed furiously…
“I wonder if she understood what I said..”Jin thought
“Umm, It’s nice to meet you too Akanishi-san, I’m Yurihara Miki….” Miki replied in pure English too…
“Ehh??..You can understand and speak English?” A surprised Jin asked.(This conver. Is now Japanese but read in English….)
“Hai…” Miki smiled.
“Ehh….Sugoi ne!” Kazuya butted in…
“Yeah, She’s a half Japanese and half American.” Chinen explained.
“Ehh??” Everone shouted and Chinen nodded.
“Right Mi-oneechan?” Chinen turned to her…
“Well yeah..” Miki admitted bashfully.
“Whoa!!” Everyone said in unison and Miki blushed even more.
“By the way, I’m Kamenashi Kazuya.” Kame winked at her…
“Hello!..I’m Taguchi Junnosuke!..Yoroshiku ne~!”Junno took herhand and shook it crazily…
“Yo!..I’m Tanaka Koki…Yoroshiku!” He made a peace sign…
“And Nakamaru Yuichi is my name! Nice to meet you Yurihara-chan!” Maru patted her shoulder.
“We’re from KAT-TUN…Do you know us?” Jun asked..
“Hai..I’ve heard of you guys…”Miki replied…
“Oh I see…That’s great...But as you can see, Ueda’s not here, He’s in Hokkaido. You know him don’t you?” Koki asked...
“Hai!..I think so. But I feel bad that he wasn’t able to come…” Miki said sadly..
“Oh, Is that so? Wow….You sure are a nice girl. Worrying for someone you haven’t even met. That’s so sweet.” Kame patted her head gently…
Miki blushed at the comment and didn’t utter a sound…
“Umm..Hello? …I think you’re forgetting some people over here…”Jin interrupted.
Everyone turned to him..Jin had his arms around Yamapi and Jun…
“Oh sorry. You guys weren’t saying anything” Kame apologized
“I was going to but Junno suddenly spoke..’Yamapi joked.
“Eh??Why is it me again?” Junno whined.
“Hehe..Just kidding..”Yamapi grinned then turned to Miki “Boku no namae wa Yamashita Tomohisa desu…I’m from News..Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu.”
“Hey! No need to be formal you baka! You’re just a copycat!” Jin smacked Yamapi on the head and everyone laughed.
“Ja, Matsumoto Jun desu…I’m from Arashi…”Jun bowed..
“Yoroshiku!..Minna yoroshiku onegaishimasu!....”Miki bowed politely and the rest did the same.
“Ne, ne, Yurihara-chan, can I call you Miki-chan instead?” Jin asked suddenly.
Then Kame pinched Jin’s nose so hard…
“Itai! Itai! Itai!” Jin whined.
“Baka, you’re being too rude! Of course she won’t let you!” Kame whispered.
“No it’s okay...I’m used to being called by my first name.” Miki assured them
Jin smirked at Kame as a sign of victory…
“Ja Miki-chan it is ne?” Maru said and she nodded..
“Mik-chan, I heard this yesterday, but is it true that you’re the one taking care of our little kouhais here?” Junoo said, referring to HSJ…
Before Miki could answer, HSJ began to hug her in every angle…Like her arms, neck, and stomach. But there was one guy who didn’t hug her... (You’ll know why)
“Yup!..Hontou desu yo!” They said in unison.
“Umm Yeah..”Miki followed…
“I see…How old are you? Junno asked…
“14”
“So young!”Senpais shouted.
“She’s young but very talented” Takaki said and HSJ agreed.
“How’d ya get the job?” Yamapi asked.
“Mom recommended her to Johnny-san. And she made a wise choice since Miki’s like a sister to us…” Chinen explained proudly…
“Even if we only knew her for a short time, we’ve gotten a lot closer to each other. And we plan to get even closer as much as possible.” Yuto said passionately and HSJ agreed once more…
Miki was so embarrassed by their answers, but at the same time, she felt so happy that “that” was what they feel about her. She was touched by HSJ’s words.
“Woah…I wish we had a girl like that in our house…But we got nothing” Jin spoke…
Just then he noticed something…
“Hm.? Hey Yamada-kun..Why are you over there by yourself? Come here and join us.” Jin said…
Yamada was leaning on the wall not far from them. Of course he stared at Miki because of her attire. But something was wrong with him.
“No thanks…I’m fine Akanishi-senpai…” Yamada declined but smiled sadly.
Everyone of them got worried, But they left him alone as he wanted. Miki on the other hand was very disturbed. Throughout the whole night, Yamada just sat in a corner all silent. Miki wanted to approach him but Chinen kept on pulling her to meet his senpais.
At late night, Miki tossed and turned in her bed. She doesn’t know why she can’t sleep. So she finally made a decision: to go down stairs and make some hot chocolate. That always made her sleepy.
She went down stairs…But on her way to the kitchen, she passed a big sliding glass door, and she stopped. The glass door led to a giant pool. She noticed a silhouette of a person sitting at the edge of the pool.
“Why would someone be awake at this hour?” She thought.
Miki forgot about her hot cocoa and decided to see who it was. She opened the door silently and walked up to him. The guy sat there with his feet in the water and head bowed down. She was surprised to see who it was.
“Yamada-kun?” She gasped.
One He heard her, He raised his head and faced her.
“Miki-san..”He said unenergetically…
“Why are you here so late at night?” Miki asked as he crouched down.
“I can’t sleep.” He looked at her radiant face.
“Oh I see….I couldn’t sleep either….” She smiled at the moon.” Don’t know why though…”
Silence surrounded them after that, Yamada’s head bowed down again and Miki spoke.
“Why can’t you sleep?”
“….” No reply
Not knowing what to say next, she began to ask him what’s been on her mind...
“Sorry for being so nosy but, I noticed that you haven’t talked to anyone nor you didn’t have any fun with us tonight. From what I’ve heard from Chii-chan, He said you were lively when it comes to celebrations. Is something wrong? Did anything happen?”
Yamada didn’t know what to answer, so he pretended to ignore it.
Miki waited for an answer but nothing came out of his lips, she felt a bit hurt that he didn’t answer her.
“Maybe I’m annoying him….I was the one who disrupted his peace and quiet in the first place…” She thought.
“Oh I’m sorry for saying such things. I was just worried. I’ll leave you alone now. I seem to have interrupted you.” She stood up and tried to walk away when a tight but gentle grip stopped her, who else would it be?
The moment their hands touched, Miki’s heart began to pump.
“I don’t mean to be forceful, but stay for a while. And don’t worry; you’re not annoying me or anything. Just stay.” Yamada commanded her gently; his head raised a little, looking at the clear water.
When she heard him say that, her heart throbbed faster. Miki’s cheeks started to burn slightly.
“Why is my heart throbbing so fast?” She thought endlessly.
She snapped out of her thoughts when Yamada’s grip tightened.
“Stay…”He repeated with a gentle but sad voice…
Something was definitely wrong with him. Miki got more worried. But once Yamada finally faced her, she saw a pleading face. She knew that “that” was a sign that she needs to stay.
“Wakatta...I’ll stay with you...” She took of her slippers and dipped her feet in the pool. She sat beside Yamada and looked at the full moon. She tried to pull her hand off Yamada’s but he didn’t let her. He only tightened his hold. Miki looked at their locked hands, then at Yamada, who was pretending to look at the sky. Miki’s cheeks turned bright red and decided to let him do what he wants.
Couple of minutes of silence later, Yamada spoke.
“Miki-san…” He started.
“Hai?”
“For example, there’s a presentation at your school, you were a part of it. For the past week, you’ve been practicing really hard for it. But when the day came for your presentation, you made several mistakes. What would you do after that?” Yamada stated.
“Huh?....Hmmm…Well, If that really happened, then I would let it go and say to myself: I did the best I can…” Miki answered
“Won’t you feel bad and regret your mistakes” Yamada asked.
“Well, I will but just for awhile. Because its pointless to mourn about what’s already done. Just think, what will be the advantage if a person mopes around about one simple problem?” Miki replies.
“But what if-“Yamada wasn’t able to continue when Miki spoke…
“Nobody’s perfect Yamada-kun. Everyone makes mistakes like that; Even the greatest person on earth isn’t perfect. Just say, I’ll do much better next time, I’ll work my hardest.”
Yamada faced the moon and smiled slowly. Miki saw it and teased him…
“Oh!...You smiled again!...That actually looks good on you!...Kawaii!” Miki poked Yamada’s right cheek. “You should smile more often.
“Stop that…come on…Stop that…Yamete!” He pleaded while laughing…
Miki began to tickle him on the sides and he kept on laughing and pleading but she didn’t listen to him…Then, by accident, Miki pushed Yamada into the pool. Instead of apologizing, she laughed at him. Yamada spitted out some water from his mouth.
“AHAHAHAHAHAHA!”
“Oh you’re so gonna pay for that…”Yamada smirked. Miki was somewhat confused. Yamada took the opportunity to pull her in the pool as well. It surprised her so she gasped.
Now it was his turn to laugh. He laughed twice as hard as Miki. Miki splashed some water to Yamada’s face and he did the same. They kept splashing each other and didn’t even notice that they were having fun with each other’s company. In the middle of their fun, Miki held back her wet hair in a sexy way.
Yamada watched her while she did that, He didn’t blush that much. He observed how she moved, how she shines under the moon light. He didn’t even know that he just licked his lips.
Miki…chan…” He muttered and that surprised her.
Her eyes were wide as saucers due to shock ness.
“D-did he just call me Miki-“chan”?” She asked herself. “I must’ve had too much water in my ears….Maybe I’m just hearing things…”
She was lost in thought yet again until…
“Miki-chan?” He said more faster and louder.
“Na-nani?” She answered “I guess I wasn’t hearing things after all” She thought and smiled…
“I want to tell you something…” He whispered…but enough to be heard by Miki.
“Huh?..Umm…What is it?” She wondered and got ready to listen to him….
