Polls are stupid
In basketball Butler lost this weekend. I think they were ranked #14. So I'm sure they should drop. But I still think that right now they should be #1. It's not like Indiana State is a bad team. And Butler did beat Indiana, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and Gonzaga to win the Preseason NIT. The pollsters are so stupid. I'm not saying they have to be #1. But you honestly can't tell me there were 13 teams better in the nation. I would give you UCLA, Wichita State (deserving of its own post as well) and maybe a few others. But just because Butler is a small and not a normal powerhouse doesn't mean they can't play with the big boys.Just thought I'd let you know why the polls were stupid.
If I were choosing, right now the #1 seeds would be Arizona, Butler, North Carolina and UCLA. Just for a quick update how are my preseason top 4 doing? Well I had UNC and UCLA so they're doing pretty good. The defending champ Florida has two losses already but one was to Kansas so they're still doing well. And Kansas is a fine team in my mind right now. It's odd that they beat Florida but couldn't beat Oral Roberts or DePaul. Kansas will be fine as long as they don't have to play mediocre teams. Haha.
