Went to work today...3-8 shift. Customers were whacked today. I'm so sick of people moving so slow. In my opinion, people should have money or cards out and ready to go before I start the order on express. Not me finishing the order, giving them a total, and then have them digging for a credit card...this is ridiculous folks, let's get a move on, I feel myself aging here.
This one lady came through my line today telling me she couldn't reach the milk b/c her arms were too short. I offered to help and she told me she had no time b/c her dog was in the car with the engine still running! It was on people! What gets me is it's people like her who's car will never be stolen. It'd be too easy...we should all just leave ours engines running now that I think of it. What an ingenious idea! (I'm sorry for all this sarcasm, but I just don't get it anymore)
And if I hear one more person say, "They're all different" as an excuse when they can't work the friggin credit card things, I'm going to say something that some people may take offense to. Read the directions on the screen! Register 10 even has a sign that says "Slide card up" do people read and comprehend...Nope! And they act totally baffled when you tell them to do it...It's pretty self-explanatory people! They can run high tech companies and the economy of Hudson/Litchfield may depend on them, but they can't read simple instructions to use their credit card and pay for their groceries...What is the world coming too?
Alright well I'm done venting now. Johnny this is the type of thing I would have thrown at you if I called you to vent so be gald you didn't answer your phone lol I feel much better now...I need a drink
