random thoughts to end 2010 ( part III)

Before I get started on this third posting let me explain why I don't just make one long excruciating post so you can go through the pain one time and get it over with. I'm sorry I know this is kinda like pulling your tooth without deadening your mouth before hand and slowly pulling it inch by painful inch.
In greek mythology King Midas was known as the Midas touch where everything he touched turned to gold. When people say someone has the midas touch today it is considered a good thing meaning everything in their life turns out.good/positive. In the real story of King Midas it was not a good thing because his food, drink and daughter all turned to gold and he begged that this wish he had wished for be taken away. Anyway I do not have the Midas touch because instead of things turning good or too gold. I think I have the Sewer touch because everything I touch turns to shit. I'm sure I said that on black Friday ( big sale friday after Thanksgiving ), my husband went to Walmart and bought me a laptop that was part of my Christmas present. He gave it to me early. As most of you know just a week or Two before Christmas, I busted the screen. I was having to use my phone to connect my computer to the internet (long story for another time), so no computer so still able to go online via phone, but sewer touch, somehow I broke the jack to charge my droid phone.now what I have to do is charge my battery in an old noworking droid of my daughter's and put it into my phone and use It until the battery dies. My daughter is worse on electronic equipment than I am.I have two batteries that I just keep swapping between the two phones so my post is limited to the length of battery charge.
I've had three children, my sister had has four (she has three living ). So I've watched six children grow up. My sister's youngest child is eleven. Anyway I can't believe at this point that I'm so amazed by my granddaughter, but I am.my children were all in the gifted classes. They all won the presidential award of excellence among others so there is no doubt they are smart even if they often find it
challenging to use their common sense at times. T
he oldest got an academic letter jacket. My middl
e son got into trouble so I had to home school hi
m ( he also has ( ADHD) in the end my daught
er wanted to be homeschooled too. So I did an
d they took their GED's. Anyway Scarlett (gran
ddaughter ) seems so advanced and she catch
es on to things really easy. She is really goo
d with music and dancing. When she was in
the womb, my daughter used The machine t
o play the music to the fetus. I wasn't sure if I
t really did anything, but now to see the way
she is with music at 19 months, I'm convin
ced that it had an effect on her. Hopefully
by the next doctor's appointment we'll get t
o learn what our next grandbaby is going to be
. I figure a boy because once again sewer tou
ch if it's a girl my daughter, my daughter ha
s said she will have one of her names be after
me. My daughter has started off by giving her fi
rst child three names so she plans to do that
with all her children. Scarlett Helena lynne
I'm really glad I found live journal. I don't really enjoy Facebook or MySpace. I think I just joined in October. There are a few lessons I've learned. I friended this one person
who constantly wanted to fuss and gripe at
people who didn't comment on his journal and n
o matter how hard I tried very few of his post
Were anything to comment about and I noticed that he usually didn't comment on anyone else's journal. A few days ago I noticed he had deleated his journal. Also I trial to find communities based on my interest and sometimes I'd just stumble upon some by accident. I talked about my kids using their common sense well I joined three or maybe four communities and did Not realize until the other day that the communities were actually making fun of real people who could be hurt by it and although I can't prevent what others do,by joining the community I am taking an active part and actually condoning it.
