Pretty much as soon as she gets the call, Aeryn's heading up to Luke's room and knocking on the door.

Luke looked a lot older, but definitely less bruised than the last time Aeryn saw him.

"Hi," he said, smiling softly. "I heard I missed trolls."

"Something else will come along. It's Fandom," she smiles. "Welcome back."

"Is he here?" Luke asked.

Because that would decide if it was good to be back.

"I haven't heard anything about it," she says, knowing exactly what he's talking about. "I've been listening to the radio and walking around town, and unless he's in hiding, he's not back yet."

"He probably had to drop Han off first," Luke said a little bitterly. He sat down on the bed and gestured towards the empty chair. "How have you been?"

Aeryn takes a seat, shrugging a little. "It's been a strange few weeks," she says. "Overall okay, though. How was your trip?"

"Educational," Luke said. "I got to train with a Jedi Master."

A quick scowl. "Even though I'd been told they'd all been wiped out. Ben has an...interesting grasp on the truth sometimes."

It's encouraging to hear about training, though. She'll focus on that part. "Did it help?"

Luke nodded. "A lot. I made my own lightsaber!"

He put his hands on his knees. "How's Rory been?"

Aeryn almost isn't sure how to answer that. "She's trying," she says. "She's preparing for whatever happens. I've never seen her this focused, which says a lot."

Luke pressed his lips together. "I'd be wasting my time telling her to stay away from him, huh?"

"You might want to try, but I don't think it'll do much to stop her. I think the best thing at this point is to make sure she is prepared."

"He'll kill her," Luke said to the floor. "And it will be my fault."

"No," she says sternly. "He won't. And you are not responsible for anyone else's actions. Not Rory's, not Anakin's, no one but your own."

Luke stared at Aeryn for a long moment, then finally nodded. "I keep having to relearn that," he said quietly.

He swallowed hard. "I still have to defeat him. And his Emperor. Yoda won't do it for me."

The turtle, back on his desk, ignored any mention of his name.
