The door to his room was open and Luke was lying on his stomach typing out a quick transmission to Leia. He wasn't exactly sure what planet they had ended up on after fleeing Yavin, but he was sure the message would get to her somehow.

Besides, she'd told him to keep in touch and he'd never break a promise to her.

After waking up from a cold medicine coma and wrestling her router into submission getting himself cleaned up some after Ethics class, Bel headed to Luke's room and knocked on the door.

"Hey," Bel said, raising an eyebrow at the hair. "Mind if we reschedule Caritas tonight? Had a bad day and a one hour nap turned into four and then my router died. We could go out this weekend or sometime next week, whatever works for you."

"No problem," Luke said immediately because his player hates routers and their capriciousness, too. He tilted his head--the fauxhawk didn't move--and looked closely at Bel. "Are you okay?"

Bel chuckled a little. "She's not big with the words period from what I know," he said. "But it's cool that she's teaching you. You learning to fight with that whatsit that your father had? Lightsword?"

"Lightsaber," Luke corrected, "and not yet. My lessons got to 'don't point the lit-up part at me, Luke,' before Vader killed my teacher." He frowned. "But Peter Pevensie said he'd help me. My father showed him some of the old forms before he left."
