Tonight's full moon is the Wolf Moon, so named because it falls in January, a cold month that caused wolves to come out and howl at the moon. It's also called the "After Yule Moon," because it's the first full moon to occur after the Winter Solstice holidays. Tonight's full moon will be the biggest and brightest of 2010; a full 14 percent wider and 30 percent brighter than normal, so step outside and take a gander at the night sky and gaze up in wonder.
