I've been nominated for Sound!
This is still mildly shocking. Me? Nominated? For anything? Least of all sound. I mean... Let's face it. I decided to do it on the spur of the moment. I enjoyed it immensely, but that it actually ended up being pretty good is (a) sheer luck (b) Eric, his parents' CD collection, and Nora.
I may have made the explosion/ringing noise and chosen the intermission music, but it was far more collaborative that my name in print next to Sound Nominees makes it seem. I guess I'm representing my portion of the group effort, but still.
Not that I'm dissatisfied. I'm thrilled to have gotten a nomination! It does strike me as silly, however, that I got it for sound and not acting. In September, this situation was entirely unfathomable.
