Learning as I go
I’m still working on wearables after Vilte’s master-class. For the moment it takes quite a bit of time. All dresses is not only the piece of clothes, it is composition, colour coordination, in a way it is like a painting. Most of the work is done before I lay out the silk and fibers. Sometimes it is gets change or shell I say improved during the process. If I’m not sure I just leave it for a while and then come back with fresh eyes and ideas. Every nuno felted dress is not only feeling of satisfaction but also the never ending source of knowledge I’m getting. I’m making my mistakes but learning at the same time. My mistakes or may be finds are precious for me because with each one I always get new perspective for future ideas. If I start playing it safe I will never discover new things...
