Summary: So here it is... it is quite of a "weird" fanfiction, at least for me, 'cause it is no story at all! This one is the first of some drabbles I have (and will) written, they are Canon!Au, but I know nothing else... not how old are our boys, not what happened to them (even if something might come out during the story... We will know it in the same moment I think). I think the story diverge from canon not before Ennis' divorce but I am not sure at all.
Some of those drabbles are inspired by other writers, when I know it I will tell, or make references in the disclaimer^^

Cursing, the man bends over the cabinet in the kitchen, a noise of pan crashing heard in all the house.
-Goddammit!-
The yell might scare the birds outside, and covers the sound of footsteps while another man, with fair, curly hairs, stern features, tight lips, a blue shirt, blue jeans and cowboy boots enters the room, cleaning his dirty, callous hands on a rag.
He raises an eyebrow, looking at the other man butt in the air, while Jack’s head is still, muttering curses, into the cabinet.
A slow smile plays over his tight lips.
Three sounds, in a row: a slap, the second yelled -Goddammit!!- and the one of water running.
Blue eyes, even more furious now and highly suspicious look at Ennis which is washing his hands in the sink, as innocent as a toddler.
Jack points his finger towards Ennis, a deep frown over his face.
-You… you fucking spanked me!-
Ennis closes the tap, calmly, looking at Jack with clear brown eyes.
-I did not. Musta be dreaming-
Jack opens his eyes wide, keeping pointing at Ennis.
-You… you…-
Ennis’ lips twitches when Jack is speechlessly angry and a laugh, slow and growing surer and surer, until it is strong and deep, scares the birds which fly away, indignantly, in the bright sunlight.
