Suckie Weekend recap
So its only 930am and I'm bored @ work already which means this is gonna be a long day.
So my weekend was pretty suckie.
Friday I worked @ Alumni then had a mtg with Admissions about Orientation. So everything was going well up to that point. After that Sam & I went shopping @ Target in Watertown which was fun too. From there we went to Friendly's and had lunch and here's where my wknd started to suck. So we're leaving and I'm standing in front of the door which is a two way swinging door and this guy shoves it open and the door slams into my left temple. It hurt like a bitch (& still does) and he was like oops r u ok and kept walking didnt even apologize. After that I picked up my mom and then my car (yea!). Then Sam & I went to meet Steph @ BB&B cuz I had to get a Bday Gift for my Aunt and well 20% off. So I walk in whatever and I say hi to everyone show Sam some stuff for our apt and talk to Michelle A. and Peter (who I finally got to laugh @ one of my jokes). So I'm walking around to show Sam some other stuff & I see Brian who says y r u dressed like that and I'm like I just came from work (ok what I was wearing wasnt that bad it was a khaki skort which only looks short cuz I have long legs and was wearing heels, a black tank that says baby girl, and a red button down shirt that wasnt buttoned cuz it was freakin hot as all hell). So he says to me "You work on the corner?" So I was like u just called me a whore and he said no I called u a slut. So I'm entirely insulted so that sucked ass cuz I hate being called a slut/whore primarily b/c of the whole wdwd thing that I wont go into. But he said he was kidding so whatever.
Saturday Blew major and thats y my wknd mostly sucked. So Saturday I was supposed to go to 6 flags with Steph, Abi & Sam. So Steph told me Friday night when I left her @ 1030 to call & wake her up when I got up in the morning.
So I get up @ 7am and I call her and she doesnt answer her phone and I'm like no big I'll wake her up @ 8am she'll still b here by 9am.
So I call her @ 8am and she doesnt answer.
So @ 830 I call her parents house and I'm like can you wake her up. And her mom tells me she said she was sleeping @ my house. So now I'm confused cuz that was never the plan but her mom said maybe she just decided to stay over her friend lynn's house. So I'm like ok well she'll probably show up @ 930.
930 comes and no Steph and her Dad calls me and says have u heard from Steph and I'm like no I'm gonna wait a bit longer for her.
@ 1030 Steph still wasnt there and her Dad called me again and asked if I had heard & I'm like no I'm gonna go get my roommates and call her some more. But I wanted to see if her ex-bf had Lynn's number cuz I didnt so I call Joe and I'm like do u have Lynn's # cuz I cant find Steph and he's like no. But now he's weirded out cuz I never call him so he's confused and calls her Dad who explains everything. So I pick Sam & Abi up and we leave for 6 Flags the whole time I'm like she's probably sleeping & doesnt hear the phone.
By 130pm though I start to panic b/c she shld be up by now and called me. Now her dad is worried and we just keep trying her cell. So her parents r calling, I was calling, Maddie, Boothby, and Tom are all calling. Her Dad calls her old job and asks them to contact Lynn. So they get Lynn and she says she never spoke to Steph. So now we're all freaked out and I remembered Steph had said something about fixing some guys mp3 player but deciding not to go so I'm like maybe she changed her mind. But I cldnt remember the name.
@ 3pm I call Tom freaked out b/c its not like Steph to do something like this and I'm really starting to worry.
@ 5pm we were all ripshit cuz we havent heard from her since 11pm the day before. But her Dad is like we'll wait a little longer.
@ 630pm we decided it was definitely time to call the police. So Mr. G went in and filed a missing persons report. So the police called me and I had to give a description of what she was wearing & talk about our conversation friday night and I was just blanking. I cldnt remember the name of the guy she was talking about & the police officer was acting like I was hiding something. She was like u wont get in trouble if u tell us we just want to find her safe. And I was like don't u think I fucking kno that?? Obviously I want to find my best friend. I've never been so terrified.
From 630 until about 1030 I was just out of it and Sam & Abi were like do u want to leave but there was nothing I cld do from home, but I was trying to replay our convo over in my head to see if I cld remember a name.
@ 1030-1045 (a full day since I had seen Steph) her Mom calls and says she's on her way home. She called and hadnt realized her phone was off all day WTF. I was happy she was ok but was so pissed. She text me & apologized but I was just like u have no idea how sorry doesnt cut it right now. I literally cried all the way home from springfield until I fell asleep and on my way to work on Sunday. I really don't kno what she was thinking.
Sunday I was supposed to work from 945-4. So I get to work @ 930am I was a bit ragged from Saturday's antics and just out of it in the morning. Brian came in & I was still mad about being called a slut. So he says to me that he would definitely visit that corner. Which made me laugh, BB&B yesterday was the only thing keeping me sane cuz if I had had the day off I wld have spent the day still miserable about Saturday. Dennis asked me & Michelle A to stay & help out cuz corporate was coming on Monday. Michelle and I were there from 930am-845pm. It was a long ass day. But it had its perks and it lifted my mood from everything on Saturday.
Today Still kinda drained, I get out of here @ 2pm and then I have some errands to run.
