Wow, I day-tripped an event for the first time in a long time. Due to many many mundane realities I have been unable to attend events. I had almost forgotten how much I missed it and seeing friends at those events. Though I was raised a Trimarin I had always met and played with Meridians from time to time(mostly due to my home in Jacksonville being only 45 minutes from the closest Meridian shire). One of those Meridian friends was being elevated to the order of the chivalry at an event that was only 2 hours from my home in Atlanta. So, I had to go. While only there for a few hours I managed not only to see many of the folks I know and like from Meridies, but many good friends from Trimaris! Yippee! It was a salve for my weary soul. I only wish that I had had more time to spend with each of them. Now .... perhaps if I can find employment that allows me to enjoy not only my home and family but leaves me time to enjoy meeting with friends on the weekends as well, life would truely be grand.
