Happy birthday, the_rocklobster !

Not thoughts on last night's VM episode (because I flip out easily but if you comment I'll gladly share thoughts with you!) but sort of a revelation about the original ending, sort of the alternate too. You might've already made it, so sorry.

Ooh, theories. Interesting. I think Meg may have actually woken up just as Veronica left, but in a literal just woken up, not from a coma. I'm with you on believing that she's "faking" the coma. But I can see how and why her parents and doctors would want to keep the public believing that she is indeed in a coma. Could you imagine the press, police and everyone else coming out of the woodworks to question/talk to the sole survivor of the bus crash. Given her current situtation, I'm sure that it would be just a bit to stressful for Meg to undergo that kind of attention. That would be a reason the doctors would play along with the story ( ... )

The thing is, I don't really think Meg's parents want to protect her. I'm more surprised they didn't pull the plug on her because sex before marriage is probably "not pure" and we know how they are with that.

I clicked on the friend's page over at vm_santa.

I think her parents are more centered on protecting themselves, trying not to let it be known that they have a pregnant teenage daughter and all. And I also am surprised that they haven't already done something drastic to her.
