Okay, for the first time ever I’m going to share my thoughts on Twilight thanks to you. ;)

Since I’m a member of fandom_wank all I know about this series is that the fandom is populated mostly by squealing teen girls and equally as crazy soccer moms. And the author is a Mormon housewife. And that the books feature a sparkly vampire LULZ.

But despite all the pointing and laughing from one side, and the obsessive glee on the other side, I do want to read the books in order to properly understand where people are coming from. I mean, I get annoyed when people badmouth the HP books when they haven’t read them, so I should do the same for Twilight.

I think this means I need to go to my local library hahaha.

oh i totally get the whole wank side of the fandom. Some ppl are totally hcore and its a little scary.

BUT i'm such a fluffy romantic at heart, and these books are squishy, and my friends were all Squee at me, so i read them and i love them. Some parts are less awesome than others (and some parts i really don't like), but i'm all a-flail. (more so that the trailer is HERE!!!!)

But like i said, i'm a big die-hard squishy fluffy romantic. and these books more or less make me happy.

I have no probs if you don't share my opinion and want to wank all over them (and wank on them here). we can laugh at each other freely. but i'm glad you're going to give them a chance.
