damn kids

I went to Hollister to go shopping last night. I will NEVER go there again. The place is super tiny which doesnt help the situation, with me being claustrophobic and all. But, I wanted to try on a couple pairs of jeans. So I start looking, meanwhile dodging little teeny boppers on their cell phones with skirts up to their ying-yang even tho its 45 degrees outside. God help. Anyway, I get a couple pairs of jeans and go to the fitting room. There's this really cute girl there..well..she was cute until I realized she had no personality...big surprise. But I was nice anyway. You could easily tell that I had 2 pairs of jeans in my hands, but she took them from me anyway, giving them a twice over and handed them back to me. I go into the dressing room and realize that all the "rooms" consist of are about a 2 by 5 foot space of floor with a thin hanging drape...I'm like "ok, whatever". I try on the pairs of jeans and realize i need a different size. I walk over to Ms. No Personality and ask her to go get me a different pair. She looks at me like "how dare you" and proceeds to tell me that she can't leave the dressing room. WTF. I have to go back into the dressing room and put my other jeans and shoes back on. As I'm walking out of the dressing room I begin to hand Ms. No Personality the jeans that I had, and she again looked at me in horror and asked if I would put them up. I crumpled the jeans up and shoved them on a shelf somewhere and I left immediately. Whatha? First of all, how is it that girls and guys in high school have no personality or social skills? I can't imagine it. My sister is 16 and has more personality than I can take sometimes. How did kids become so disrespectful? Are they asked to be snotty and unaproachable by their employees? I think girls think that guys like you to just stand there and keep your mouth shut. Like, they think it makes them "mysterious" or something. I'm so disgusted. Maybe she thought I was being snotty with her. But, Jeezuz, thats her JOB. You can go into Charlotte Russe and be treated better than that. From now on, I'm sticking with Abercrombie jeans. The kids at A&F may be kinda snotty overall, but if you pick one out of the group and be nice to them, they'll give you whatever you want and help you with whatever you want. They're more expensive, but I realize it will more than worth it.
