Peru is better than YOU!
We leave on July 17th…we’ll be back on August 2nd. So excited to see the motherland again. For a week we will be on the same dig where Craig and I met…then a week of traveling, thinking of the Nazca Lines or visiting the ruins and islands out in Lake Titicaca…maybe the Jungle? Who knows, would love to see Cusco again and Machu Picchu, but may not be in the cards this time around due to the time restraints.
I emailed my father, we may fly down to Chile for a day or two to see him, drink some good Chilean wine and visit some Mapuches…..I love the Mapuche. Do you know they were never conquered by the Incas? They speak a different language, Mapudungun….they even gave the spaniards a run for their money.
I can’t wait to go back to Peru, it will be like another rebirth…I feel so refreshed and energized after each visit to South America…like I just took an amazing cleansing bath and am ready to take a good look at my life and replan, with all the greatest of energies…the forces come together there…so close…so pure…so light, only in the Andes, the southern hemisphere can I see myself through a new window, I am I am I am.
Plus the purest and best tasting ceviche the world has to offer, pisco sours on the beach and archaeology like none other.
CANT WAIT for life to refresh again.Like a weekly hair treatment. So shiny healthy and new. Peru is so restorative for me :)
