As I have half an hour of Day 1 to go, I should get on this. Especially since this is ridiculously hard to answer.
I have favourite songs for different moods. And for whatever whimsical tangent I'm in. Hence, here is a list.
My favourite need-to-be-genki-this-morning song is Arashi's 'Kitto Daijoubu'. It makes me imagine rainbows. Once you've seen it, you can probably see why.

My favourite I-AM-genki-this-morning-and-need-to-dance-and-make-you-dance-too is another Arashi song - 'Believe'. I have a bad habit of walking around the house listening to it on my ipod and gesturing wildly. The lyrics, especially the chorus, when translated are very GANBARE. Sometimes, I need a lot of that.

My favourite song to be humming lately, apart from the Locoroco theme, is this song. I'm sure when another damn catchy song comes along it will be replaced, never mind that this song has nothing deep and meaningful to it, proves that it's probably ridiculous, but eh. And by 'favourite', I mean most often inflicted out loud. IT GETS IN YOUR BRAIN AND NEVER LEAVES. Girls Generation 'Oh'.

This song has me stand still, stop what I'm doing, whatever it is, and just listen. I can't describe it. I love Garfunkel's voice. It's a very whimsical song. And just grabs me. I prefer the film version, rather than the released version, it sounds so much better.

When I get in one of those indescribable moods, on come the voiceless soundtracks, and apart from me being entirely in love with the Spirited Away soundtrack, this piece, 'The Sixth Station', I am obsessed with. So much. Orchestral pieces just do me in.

This next one, is a choir song. I sand it when I was in the girls choir at upper school, and it's one of the only fond things I remember from that time. Even though I'm Pagan, and it's blatantly a Christian song, I still love it. Goosebumps.

As to which any of them is my ichiban favourite song? Who knows :s
