Title: A Last request

Summary: Tension has been rising in the group after hearing of Akanishi's marriage. All of them have been affect differently but Kame has been hit the hardest. When things start to go down hill the group receives a letter that changes everything. Can the group pull together along with Akanishi joining in one last time to grant the last wish of one fan? And will the other members of Johnnys help or feel left out?

Chapter 1 From the Lyrics to the Letter
"Tanaka Koki tapped his pen against the age of the table listening to a recording of Nakamaru’s beatboxing. He could hear the rhythms his best friend had created which were going to be added to their newest single. All that was left were the rap lyrics and the group was waiting on him almost impatiently.
“Oi Koki we’re heading out for drinks tonight you coming?” Junno asked packing up his DS obviously happy about kicking some ass against the AI of the game.
Koki glanced over at the other T of the group and shook his head. “Iie. I gotta finish this before Friday or Johnny-san’s going to have my head.”
Nakamaru reached over from behind and grabbed one of the water bottles from the table. “You still stuck on that? Is the track I gave you not helping or something?”
Koki looked up at his best friend and smiled. “It’s not that Yuchi. To be honest I only just started listening to it so I can’t rightfully say it’s not helpful. I did have to change and remove my make-up.”
“True. Well as Junno said we’re all heading out tonight. If you finish up or get bored give us a call we’ll tell you where we’ll be.” Nakamaru said.
Koki chuckled as he tried to picture the beatboxer drunk and failed miserably. “Yuchi why are you going?”
Nakamaru held up the keys, “Someone needs to be a designated driver for those three.”
Ueda pouted as he slipped into his shoes and reached for his jacket. “I’m not that bad Maru.”
Kame stepped out of the shower room with only a towel wrapped around his waist. “I think he was referring more to Junno then you Tat-chan.” He looked around before growling. “All right which one of you moved my clothes?”
Junno held up a small bag and waved it around before taking off out the door with Ueda right behind him.
Kame’s eyes widened for a split second before he nearly forgot he clad only in a towel and started chasing after them. “Taguchi you are so dead!”
Nakamaru and Koki looked at each other before getting ready to follow after the other three knowing full well Kame was not joking around. “Why do I get the feeling if Jin was here he would have been the one to chase down Junno and let him have it.”
Koki pulled his headphones off and set them on the table. “Because he would. Despite their differences those two were close.”
Nakamaru looked over to see what could almost pass as a look of pain on his best friend’s face. “Daijoubu Koki?”
Koki plastered a smile on his face, “Nothing’s wrong I’m fine.”
Nakamaru didn’t look satisfied but he allowed the matter to drop for the moment. “Come on let’s go. Someone’s gotta play referee and you and I both know it won’t be Tat-chan. But he won’t take sides either.”
“You got that. Tat-chan’s only a fighter in the ring.” Koki commented as he followed the N back on to the set of their latest PV.
“Taguchi if you don’t give me those back I’m going to hit you so hard you’ll wind up in America with Akanishi.” Kame threatened his voice promising murder.
Ueda was sitting on the side just watching the display in front of him. Turning he could see Nakamaru and Koki running up from behind Junnosuke. It was obvious they were going to snatch the bag from the second T.
Koki grabbed the bag from behind and tossed it to a fuming Kame. “Go get dressed we’ll take care of baka here.”
Kame glared up at the gamer and huffed before walking back towards the dressing room. Luckily for him his towel managed to stay completely on during the whole fiasco.
Once the youngest member was out of sight Nakamaru turned to Junnosuke. “Now why the heck did you do that?”
For once Junno’s face wore a serious expression. “Kame played that prank on me last week. I was only paying him back.”
“You two have been at each other’s throats over those pranks for the past 2 months. What the heck is going on?” Ueda asked approaching the others.
“It’s because Kame misses him and he’s taking it out on Junno.” Nakamaru said. He turned to Junnosuke. “I’m right aren’t I?”
Junnosuke nodded as he leaned against a piece of the set. “We hoped to take him out drinking tonight to get his mind off of him.”
Koki shook his head determined to go back to the dressing room and gather his notes and player, “Good luck with that. When he heard of Bakanishi’s marriage he was pretty upset. Hell we all were. ”
“You know you really should come with us. You’ve been working pretty hard these past few nights.” Ueda said as he leaned against the wall.
Koki did want to go but his pride and want to finish those damn lyrics was preventing him from accepting their invitation. “I told you guys I need to finish those lyrics. But I’ll take a rain check okay?” Not waiting for an answer Koki headed back to the dressing room to gather his things.
He made it back to the hotel they were staying at for the location of the new video and decided a shower was more important then the lyrics at least at the moment. After finishing up he moved to his bed and placed his headphones on again and began to listen to ‘Maru’s beatbox track . He only got into two minutes of the track when he felt his cellphone buzzing.
“Oi are the gods against me getting this lyrics done or something?” Koki muttered as he picked up the phone. His expression softened when he realized who was texting him.
Koki Nii-san
I have a favor to ask.
Can you meet me? It’s important.
Koki sighed when he realized it was his little brother. He texted a reply and the two agreed to meet up at their favorite park both in disguise to avoid any fans ‘attacking them’
When Koki arrived he found Juri sitting on the swing set. “Ju-chan.”
Juri Tanaka looked up and smiled when he saw his brother approach him. “Koki.”
Koki sat down next to his brother, “Is everything okay? Are you all right?”
Juri nodded, “Hai, I’m fine. Its just there’s something I think you well you and the rest of the group should see.” He handed a printed out sheet of paper to his brother.
Koki looked at the paper realizing it was a letter. After scanning the text his eyes went wide. “Wait, don’t you know them?”
Juri nodded. “Hai, that’s why I wanted you to see it. Koki, I don’t know what to do.”
“I think I do.” Koki responded as he hugged his brother before pulling out his cell phone. “Ne Maru, where are you guys?
Nakamaru plugged his ear as he tried to hear his best friend on the other end of the phone. “Hold on Koki.” He turned to the others held up the phone and pointed towards the door so they knew where he was going.”
When Nakamaru had the phone away from him Koki could hear the noise in the background and already guessed what his best friend was doing considering he too had to pull the phone away from his ear.
“Oi Gomen, now what did you want?’ Nakamaru asked once he could hear and think clearly.
“I’m with Juri in the park right now and he just showed me something I think we need to discuss as soon as possible.” Koki answered looking down at the letter again.
“All of us?” Nakamaru asked. “Wait this doesn’t’ have anything to do with Akanishi’s marriage does it?”
“Well no but I think he’s going to have to be contacted about this too.” Koki responded. “As much as we’d hate to bother him since he’s going to be starting his new tour soon.”
“Well the others aren’t wasted yet. If it’s that important I think we can escape back to the hotel and pick where we left off either later tonight or another time.” Nakamaru said..
“You sure you’ll be able to get them away from the bar?” Koki asked.
“Trust me I know what to do. We’ll be back at the hotel in about an hour that okay?”
“Sounds fine see you then. Oh and Yuchi, make sure Juno and Kame don’t kill each other before you get back.” Koki said before hanging up. He turned to Juri who appeared to be shaking. “Ju-chan?”
Juri looked up at his brother and wiped the tears from his eyes. “Gomen ne.” he whispered.
Koki pulled his brother into a hug. “It’s okay, you have every right to be upset.” The two stayed in that position for several minutes ignoring any onlookers before Koki broke the embrace. “I have to go and talk to the others. Will you be okay on your own?”
“Hai, I think so.” Juri answered honestly. “I better get back though.”
Koki hugged his brother again and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead before heading back to the hotel. His grip on the letter tightened when he happened to pass by the hospital which ironically had been on the way to the park… The thought crept into his mind but he pushed it away. He couldn’t let his emotions over power him. He needed to talk to the others before jumping to conclusions. But he hoped to Kami-sama what he was thinking at that very moment was not true."
