hi, sorry for jumping in! was scrolling some stuff and saw your post. nice to meet you!! actually i have more or less same situation as yours, but in reverse. in my case, i was just a casual fangirl of k8 coz i was into arashi deeply back then hehe. but i've always followed them but not as intense as when i'm with arashi. but the, THE news broke down: subaru left. i was shocked because i didnt see it coming, honestly. i dont know, maybe for those who loyal to them, maybe they felt something was off from subaru at that time(?). from there on, i try to invest my time for them till today. (and bye arashi, since before their hiatus, i have lost my interest in them, sorry! 😆). and i guess after ups and downs, i love them more than before. i agree with many opinions saying that k8 now is more balance, each portion for each member is perfect i should say. they become a group who treasure each other presence more, from what i see. the most important is, i'm happy maru's singing part is increasing! i know i feel that he's underrated that he's always under the shadow of subaru and ryo in terms of singing parts in the group. and now all the members get the chance to have the same amount of singing parts. i'm religiously happy! haha

I've never seen Subaru's leaving in that terms, but know that I think about it, it's true that Maru has more singing part and he is very good at it and maybe this gift wasn't showed before. I just hope that they could continue their journey as a group, because they are wonderful, and now that my "fears" of them disbanding are less strong than before, I feel like I can enjoy them more! ♥
