Sigh. This summer is looking rather dim as far as games go. I just found out that there's another flying adventure game sort of like freelance (which I adore) coming out in august, Tim Buckley posted a link to the demo on ctrl-alt-del. Tried it out and my verdict is that it's freelancer with updated graphics and taking up 6.7 gb of memory. Freelancer's about 900 mb. The graphics aren't even that different. Also, this new game 'Darkstar One' is based around a ship left to the player by his deceased father. A super ship, so to speak, which you can update and make pretty. I think it's kind of cool, but really really stupid at the same time. Ah don't like the game. I'm also bitter because the minimum requirements lie to me. I've got almost all of the RECOMMENDED requirements on my laptop and the game runs so incredibly jerkily. With a control system remarkably similar to freelancer's, except less friendly. The basic set up is the same with the exception of a 1st person view instead of 3rd.
Yup. So you see, it's worthless. To me anyways. What I really want is Jedi Academy...which I used to own. S and or T broke it. Tear. I wants to play it rather badly and have for a while. Meh. I just want my game back. If I broke one of their games I'd replace it. Grumble.
Been miserable. I really really can't wait for band camp. I'm excited, but also I just want to get away from barrington and my family. Just for a week. It'll be nice. I biked to the end of the bike path near providence today. Then turned around and came back. For no reason, just wanted to. I miss Paris.
