Oh man. This was perfect!

I really wasn't expecting you to jump so far forward in time, but it makes sense that we get to see the longterm outcome of those two big events (the dinner party and the night after). And what an outcome! I was grinning like a grinning thing through that whole awards ceremony description - and how bloody typical of Lars to finally tell Billie he loves him in front of an audience of millions!

That conversation back at the hotel, though. Lars realizing how long he's loved Billie and being able to be open enough to talk about it. He's come a long way. And the comment about Billie's manliness? Made my day.

And of course I really liked that you referenced the two things I needed to know about after the last chapter - Adie's reaction to the marks on Billie's back, and the dog tag. And how schmoopy was that? Awww.

I'm very very sad that there's only one chapter of this left. I think I need you to publish it in hardcover format so I can go and squee over it in the bookstore and bring it home and unwrap it and read it as if it were the first time.
