And the silly things you laugh about
Posted another drabble at gd100, called Striptease. Nobody gets cookies for guessing the subject b/c you're all intelligent lovely people and it's a no-brainer. xD I think I'll X-post the lot of them at _comingclean_ too, since they seem to be welcome there (I wasn't sure before). Drabbles are bloody addictive though, I must say. I think it goes back to what cookie2697 said when I did the first one, that the form is a lot like poetry so it just gels for me. And I write them like poems too, as in, they tend to self-birth fully formed with little warning or assistance from me LOLOL. Like when I'm severely bored at work as I was today!
Ugh, the insurance adjuster is coming tomorrow - at eight o'clock in the morning. I wanted to cry when I heard that. I have tomorrow off! There were NO plans to be up before 8 am! Meh. I'm not even going to be able to go back to sleep after he leaves b/c I'm getting my hair cut at noon.
Which I'll be quietly freaking out about for the rest of the night, lol. I'm ludicrously overprotective of my hair, largely thanks to an early traumatic incident that left a deep impression, lol, so whenever I plan to do something that's actually a change - like chopping off a good six inches, etc. - I worry. It's silly and vain but there it is. I'll see if I can get someone to take a pic of me soon to share.
Last but not least, my intensely gorgeous Mike icon was made by canis_takahari. Isn't it stunning? xD
