Day is done, gone the sun...
Well, I'm not quite sure where today has gone, but it is pretty much gone. I feel somewhat accomplished, however; certainly better than yesterday, and better frame of mind, too, for all that I have to go to work tomorrow blech. But at least I got somewhere today. Even if the result is, well, more frickin' mess. :P
I have thrown all of my Green Day stuff onto a randomized playlist (interviews and the like excepted) and there keep being bits of older stuff that cracks me up. This is the reprise of Paper Lanterns from the Green Power bootleg. There are bits of various metal and rock songs sprinkled throughout, plus Billie barking like a little yippy dog. It's almost eleven minutes long with all the extra stuff crammed in there LOL! Anyway, I thought I'd share because it was making me laugh. I can up the whole bootleg at some point if anyone needs it. Just remind me because I'm forgetting things left, right and centre atm.
The mother and I went for brunch this afternoon (I know, that sounds so wrong). It was nice, though I'm right glad we had a 2-for-1 or it wouldn't have been at all worth the price. Not just because they didn't have nearly as much variety as they led one to believe, but also, I am not really a good person to take to any sort of buffet place. You will never get your money's worth because I simply can't eat that much at one time, and I'm not one to ignore that just because it's one price for whatever you can cram down. Hell, even when it's a regular dinner, I tend to be a cheap date! Also a cheap drunk if starting on an empty stomach, lol.
In sucktastic news, I think I'm coming down with a cold. :/ Considering the amount of snow out there, it's unlikely to be early-revving spring allergies, and besides, I'm coughing a lot. Yeeeaarrrgh I do not have time to be sick, universe. Make it go away, please!
