Anticlimactic much?
Quickly as I don't have much time, but I had my follow-up appointment this morning to go over my test results and apparently, there's absolutely nothing wrong besides the inexplicable inflammation. So I have a prescription that's supposed to take care of that, and hopefully that will be the end of it. I'm obviously relieved, but I confess that I'm also left a bit, "Huh? That's it?" And considering that the location of the pain I have occasionally isn't, strictly speaking, cervical, I'm reserving judgement on whether there is something *else* that's the true source of the problem until after I've gone through the prescription and another menstrual cycle or two, to see if that makes any difference. However, it's still unadulterated good news. Yay!
