This n' that
Tired today after a verrrrry long day yesterday, but had a good day nonetheless. Both of 'em, in fact. :) I spent a while in Chapters this afternoon - well, in Starbucks, in a comfy purple velvet chair, with a latte, notebook and pen. *grins* Finished off the sequel to Gift with Purchase; it's called Illuminated in Black and chapter one is here. Don't worry, chapter two (it's only 2 parts) shall be up next week.
I did not make it out of Chapters without books, though. *laughs* Though one is for my dad for Father's Day, so that's okay. (Two for me, one for someone else - that's a good ratio, right???) I was in Shoppers looking at the makeup and this lady with 2 very girly little girls was teasing them while she was looking at the hair colour, asking if she should dye her hair pink or purple, or maybe green. (They vetoed the green, lol.) Then they came out of that aisle and she said something about not being able to pull off pretty pink hair like mine. Heh. You know it's faded when... ;-) I haven't redone it yet - well, actually I'm not *going* to redo it, exactly. I'm gonna do something else. I'm going to check on what it might cost to get it done at the school, mainly b/c I'll need to bleach out the remaining dye and start blank and that's best done pro if it can be (gentler products and all) but if it's a lot, then I'll go back to the Hairdresser's Shoppe and find what I need there. I just know that bleaching out red dye can be a bit dodgy, which is why I'm gonna leave it a couple more weeks before messing with it. Need to have it done before the end of the month though - I have a wedding to go to on the 30th so I'd kind of like to have decent hair, since there will be scads of people with cameras, of course.
Aaaaand I forget what else I was going to say here. Off to edit and stuff so I'll be around iffen anyone's looking. :)
