Return of the black box o'doom
Yay Grey's Anatomy premiere! It's nice to be watching TV again. Listening to people talk today about whichever premiere they were most excited about watching tonight also brought home quite strongly that it's autumn. Although weirdly, and annoyingly, the preview they showed for next week's ep was actually for the one I just watched. *scratches head* WTF?
*dies* OMG MuchMoreMusic is showing reruns of the TV show Fame. Oh my, childhood flashbacks! Lori Singer pre-Footloose, Doris-cum-Dominique who hated being identifiably Jewish, Bruno and his dad the NYC checkered cab driver, I Sing the Body Electric...eeeee. Why does very bad TV more than 20 years old excite me so?? LOL

In other rampant consumerism news, Disney's The Little Mermaid is being rereleased in a newly remastered edition on DVD on October 3rd. I am THERE, dude. I *adore* that movie!
I did indeed listen to the entirety of American Idiot uninterrupted today to commemorate it being 2 years since its release date. :D And then I listened to the Henry Ford bootleg of the "record release party, slightly glorified" that pre-dated the actual release by a little bit. It still floors me to be able to hear *the band* sing Boulevard of Broken Dreams on that one.
And to end on a completely random note, there is a L'Oréal hair product commerical that features Franz Ferdinand's Do You Want to. o.O
