A new thought

For some reason, it honestly never occurred to me until this week that I am most likely eligible for dual Canada/UK citizenship since my father and technically also my mother were born British subjects (my mom's from Newfoundland and they didn't join Confederation until 1949). Hell, as a Canadian federal government employee, I had to sign a form saying I wouldn't insurrect against the Queen of England, lol. *That* took me by surprise! I'm definitely checking out this possibility, and I totally do not understand how I never thought about it before. Especially after a friend of mine got her dual Canada/US citizenship after she found her
American birth father. *shakes head at self*
