Went with everyone to wing night tonight but I was so tired and not hungry; I stayed about an hour and bailed. I was exhausted last night and still stupid enough to go to bed late, b/c I was in the middle of something when my eyes kept closing and by the time I was done, I'd woken up a little, of course! But we're going to see a band tomorrow night, and then Teresa's throwing a party on Saturday, God help us, so I'll be semi-scarce this weekend and I need the sleep. I plan to eat a lot before I go and pay much closer attention to wtf she's giving me to drink this time, lol.
Ooo but I have Monday off YAY! Gonna try to get my hair done. I looked at the school's prices and while the foils aren't the most fantastic discount, it's only an extra $6 to get your hair cut if you're having colour done, so it'd work out to maybe $15 more than I'd pay for just a cut normally. Aka, worth it to have someone else deal with the mess. ;-) I'm going to call in the morning and see if I can go on Monday. That seems a nice way to spend my day off.
I have a boatload of cleaning and tidying to do over the next week as well, as my Nan arrives on the 3rd and everything has to be just so for her. :-)
And I've unfortunately had to make the decision that I simply can't afford to go to Ontario *or* Minneapolis this summer. This, frankly, sucks big hairy donkey balls. I think I'll cancel one of my booked weeks of vacation so that I can use it in pieces here and there instead, since I do not want an entire two week period off work in which to be stuck at home. Gah. Perish the thought!
However, it also means that I'll be here and itching to do stuff over the summer, so if anyone else has the means to travel and the urge to come out here, I have a pretty guest room. :D
