Semi-productive day
Didn't get so much cleaning done - as in, the vacuum/Swiffer/Lysol type thereof - but got some tidying done and some laundry, and some stuff done online that's been languishing for way too long. Namely, posting the outline for the Roswell fic that's not getting finished; I meant to put it up ages ago but I've managed to lose the original written outline so I finally just typed out what I could remember and stuck it up. And made a big long post to my egroup directing them to tasyfafiction if they're interested in jumping fandom ships, lol, and tasjordan if they want to follow along on the more pro type of musings (and omfg I'm so behind on that, gotta update it this week). I've been deliberately putting off posting to the egroup about my new adventures b/c it made me kind of nervous. Roswell fans can be...different. *blinks* Now if I could only find a corner of my brain that would cooperate to finish the stupid conclusion to the other story, I'd be completely done with it.
One of the interesting things about 50kinkyways is that I've read some pairings, universes and set-ups that I wouldn't normally read, many of which have been just really well-done. I'm still thinking about the one I read today (I'd link, but it's a locked comm). Reading the other stories is a mind-stretcher, much like writing for the challenge is, too. :-)
ETA: Since it goes with this, revid had mentioned in her feedback for Downtown Whore that there was an echo in the beginning of the relationships in Transferal and I'd meant to address that comment. Transferal was actually birthed directly out of frustration with DW. I'd gotten wickedly stuck on DW after going to the Rob Thomas concert and my brain did this little sideways wiggle of "What if?" Et voilà, new universe. Anyway, I thought some of y'all might find that interesting to know.
