I did a little truth redirection today. :-/ An acquaintance of mine invited me to go to something on Saturday, and it's something I wouldn't mind going to, but I told her that my dad's birthday celebration had been postponed from last weekend as mockingbird39 was here for his actual birthday, so I couldn't go to her thing. Which is true - the postponement part, except that said celebration involves the 'rents taking off for most of the weekend. Meaning I get the entire house to myself and I can finally watch the loveliness that beelzezuk loaned me, at full volume :D, and play loud music, and just generally enjoy some time fucking ALONE. But I wasn't about to admit to someone I don't really know that well that I'm choosing to blow off a social evening that I'd previously expressed interest in so I can stay home alone, LOL.
Got to work yesterday to find a pretty gift bag on my desk. I was all, WTF my birthday was two weeks ago, but I'm cool with random presents. It turned out to be a belated bday gift from my friend Julie: it's a silver Celtic cross brooch. So pretty, and a shape I didn't have yet too! A very nice surprise indeed.
Speaking of beelzezuk, you were looking for a good picture of Billie's punx tattoo, right? Because this one is a thing of beauty. *grins*
