Pretty impressive this year round.
The hottie downstairs is selling stuff from the store she and her sister had up the street before her sister had a baby. Kind of strange seeing candy store people selling vases and what not. But nevermind that, I got three 7 Diamonds shirts for a total of just over $100. They are normally $90 each. Sweet. One of them has these little fuzzy furry things that look like they will attract cat claws if I'm not careful. I can't believe they had that one on sale. I saw it last week and really liked it. Now if they'd just put some english laundry up tomorrow... then i'll be broke!
I got there just as most places were closing, so I didn't get a chance to check out B-Side or Soap Opera. I guess that's on the agenda tomorrow!
After buying them for the third time, I finally actually ate beets at the market yesterday. My coworker Sita told me that she eats them by peeling them, slicing them, and putting lime, salt, and pepper on them. Raw. I tried it. I didn't care for it. Beets should be semi-translucent and soft. These were hard, bitter, and difficult to deal with. Just like most of my ex-girlfriends. Hoo ah!
Still have some broccoli and cauliflower though. Not sure if I will eat them before the market tomorrow. I'm hoping to get cherries this time. Think it will be crowded due to maxwell street days?
Apparently if I want to park my bicycle outside all the time I shouldn't get a steel one. Aluminum or carbonite (or whatever it's called - fuligin? deutirium?). That sucks because those are expensive. My coworker told me I should just carry it up and down the stairs and hang it on a wall or something. I wondered if he was slightly insane, and then realized the answer was yes as we walked to caspian to pick up lunch at a really fast pace. Just short of a jog. Always good to show up sweaty with everyone's lunch.
