bring on the turkey
ok so now i'm glorifying thanksgiving break in my mind and SERIOUSLY wanting it to come sooner rather than later. it's the same every year. we start burning out on school, we get thanksgiving break, we have a blast, we come back to school only to want MORE vacation (read as: christmas break), then we miraculously make it through the end of the semester and finals and are rewarded with weeks of happy wintry bliss. i was just reading an old lj entry of when i went to chicago for thanksgiving the year before last and it made me long for it again. well to be perfectly honest, i'll be content just going home for thanksgiving. i don't need a big fancy trip to be happy.
i know i had other things to say. i guess i just forgot. oh well. bring on the holiday season, it's my fave. :D
