But then, the vampire or demon could be testing the human's reaction to all of this. Maybe the vampire or demon wants to know if the human in question can handle the information.

Or maybe, the vampire or demon wants to know how much the human knows about their kind so that they can then either stay away from said human or take advantage of them.

It's all very complicated!
