So I finally have a moment to post.
My birthday came and went. It was the best birthday I had in a LONG time. The year before was miserable and the year before that I was homeless and in an abusive relationship.
But my clan surprised me with the PERFECT birthday. It was exactly what I wanted and came out even better.
D & J and Jamie got together all my near and dear and took me out for a night of trendy bowling at Lucky Strikes on Hollywood and Highland. It was a throw back to the rat pack with its retro furniture and aumbiance. The food surprisingly was AMAZING. I didnt know brie was that good. We bowled 3 games. And a differant person won each time which was the important part to me. And the music was a perfect blend of good 90's. It was great bring surrounded by all my friends and laughing. Thats what a birthday should be about. I even got the great joy of having the hot S come down just for my party. It was such a shock it threw my game. HAHA. But I didn't care.
Then we went back to D & J's for presents and really sweet, but good gourmet cupcakes. And everyone got me exactly what i wanted. MONEY for my car fund.
I just want to say how truely BLESSED I am to have lovers that care enough about me to pull together and give me such a great birthday. I'm really lucky. And even though I do feel old now, i dont mind so much because I am getting old with such wonderful people.
Thank you to my wonderful lovers and my dear friends for the best and most touching birthday of my life. Thank you. I love all of you soo much.
