Bad Fic Writer!!!
Ugh, guys girls! Why do I fail so hard?!
Ok, let me explain my dilemma so you can understand my flailing. I signed up for the kurt_disney fest back in January. In fact, I even signed up for two movies, Snow Dogs and Den Brother. Yes, I'm a gay man who meets a lot of stereotypes including being obsessed with Disney, moving on. So I'm all excited and pumped when I first signed up and I wrote about 4k for each story in about 2 weeks. Then I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself (the minimum word count is only 1500) so I decide to take a break. Only my break lasted 2 months!!! I completely forgot about it until I just saw the post for draft submissions pop up on my flist. I'm going to finish of course, because I make a point to finish things I start and I'm friends with the mod (yes hello 1farmer_girl , don't judge me too much hard please love *puppy eyes*)
So, in context it may seem like I'm flipping out for no reason, but I do things like this all the time for almost everything. Doing a homework assignment or filing taxes or even just cleaning the apartment. I'll work really, intensely hard at something until I'm about 80% through and then instead of finishing through to the end, I decide to take it easy for awhile and either forget about it or can't get motivated again to the last minute.
*Sigh* Ok, I'm done now, time for me to get cracking on those stories. I swear I won't disappoint you 1farmer_girl !
