[He's peering blearily through the thin crack of open door, unkempt and - at a guess - hungover.]

Lloyd? I'm not goin' to class today, 'kay? But... you wanna go get me some snacks?

[He's using the door to hide, but it's not too difficult to spot the real reason he's laying low today. Somewhere, Zelos has managed to pick himself up a black eye.]

[Surprised, backs off a bit.]

... uh, right. What kind do you want?

Hmm.... you know, I want ice cream. Something with chocolate and caramel. And not some cheap brand either! Pick something good!

Plus the usual stuff, you know, and grab yourself something too. And some soda.

Oh! Hold on!

[And he shuts the door in Lloyd's face. There's a few moments before he appears again, sliding a folder out for Lloyd to take.]

Deliver that for me. The room number's there on the first page, it's over in the math department. Okay?

[REALLY put off by the way he's being treated, even for Zelos. Though with how strangely the redhear was acting, Lloyd supposed something might have been up... reluctantly, he headed off to go do his errands.]

[and comes back roughly thirty minutes later, knocking.]

[In the time Lloyd's away Zelos tidies himself up a little, quick shower and so forth. He answers the door promptly when Lloyd arrives back, looking the bag thoughtfully.]

Oh well...

[And he opens the door wider, rather than trying to squeeze said bag through the teeny gap between door and frame. Besides, Zelos reminds himself, it's only Lloyd.]

You might as well come in. Did you drop my stuff off okay?

[Stares at him a good moment before realizing what was wrong.]

Wha- hey! What happened to you?!

[And Zelos laughs, beckoning Lloyd inside.]

Help me pack this stuff away and I'll tell you all about it?

[Begrudgingly follows him in, setting some bags down on the counter somewhere.]

Right, uh, I did drop that stuff off. And I think I got everything you like...

[DERP ICE CREAM. Quickly unpacks it and starts to put it away.]

[Zelos' definition of help is grabbing a couple of cans of soda before Lloyd puts them away. And then watching.]

You got anywhere to be today? I'll get bored hanging out here by myself.

[Eye contact for just a moment, then he looks away.]

Nah, I've got a free night.

[And he laughs again, walking over to the couch and getting comfortable. His tone is light-hearted, but condescending all the same.]

Some guy decided I was getting too friendly with his girl, as if I was supposed to know she was taken. She tried to give me a hickey! Can you believe that? What would all my poor hunnies say if they saw?! But anyway, how was I supposed to know she was with someone, acting like that and all.

But nope. As usual, Zelos is the bad guy.

[He's a little grumpy now.]

[Small sigh, but he sits nevertheless.]

So she tries to give you a hickey and he punches you for it...?

[Lloyd has to resist wondering what he did with her when he'd just punch another person without a second thought, instead focusing on Zelos' current pain.]

Of course! You think I'm gonna let anyone see me like this? I look terrible! Not to mention I don't feel too great either. You know what you shouldn't mix? Fists and alcohol.
